      <title>Chamber's Redistricting Reform Initiative Closer to Qualifying for November Ballot</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>Dear BizFed member,<br /><br />As we discussed at out last board meeting we want to do our part to make sure this vital issue gets on the November ballot.  </p><p>The Voters First California initiative, sponsored by the Chamber, reached the 746,000 signature milestone last week. This puts the initiative well within reach of qualifying for the November 2008 election. The Secretary of State must receive 694,356 valid signatures by May 15 in order for it to qualify.
